Was anyone here at the BBB in Huntington??? We were the crazy couple yelling at one another .... yes, loads of fun...
But now I have a few questions.... So how the hell do you pick out your bedding set or towels... when you have no idea what place you're gonna have at the time of the wedding??? The color scheme could end up being totally off...
Also, what did evevryone do for plates? FH thinks its crazy that I want to put 1 set of plates (not doing everyday and china) on there that cost about $100 for each place setting.... What is the norm $ amt that you girls put on yours for plates?
We walked around the store about 5 times... and really didnt put that much on...
And if you dont mind, can I see your registry? LOL

Honestly b/c I know fh could care less, I did all my registering on line. You can update at any time and take away as well. I registered at BBB, Macys, Crate and Barrel, and Williams Sonoma. I sound like a brat! You can search any of mine

I didnt pick my bedding and towels because I feel like things are always being discontinued so I'll do that this summer.
As for plates, I did register for china but it comes in a big set with 8 place settings and some serving pieces. Mikasa makes it and its like $199 - I figured I wanted china but didnt want it to be super expensive because knowing me I'll break many pieces.
I think you know my last name but I'll fm it to you just in case so you can see my registry. Its not complete yet but it gives you an idea. Plus, keep in mind that I really like to cook and I entertain a lot. I didnt choose knives yet and I doubt I'll get them from there since I want a really good set.

We haven't put any bedding or towels and bath stuff on yet for that reason...bedding we'll probably do at some point in spring after we get more major things out of the way, because you can always paint the walls, but bath stuff we're not sure if we even want to register for...you can't really change the color of the sink or tub as inexpensively as the walls.
As for the plates, we put china on, every day plates that are about 40 a setting, and 'party' every day plates that are also about 40 a setting, but service for 8 comes boxed for like 195.
If you're curious at all to see the kind of stuff we put on, FM me for the name/registry number...we've got a decent amount on, but not really complete yet.

Registering is hard work! I went with fh once, back with my Mom and spend a day adding things online! I didn't do bedding, towels bathroom etc.. yet for that reason- dont know where we are going to be living or what its going to look like but I might just register for neutral colors and you can always go back and exchange them if you need to. I registered for china and everyday!

I didnt do china either....my mom gave me hers but, wasnt do it anyway. I did BBB classic dots....its a huge set for like $120, 12 place setting with all the extra things and looks like china. I will use this when we have more then 4 of us, so everything matches. I also have 2 different sets for everyday now but, I am going with another set of corell for everyday use. ** As far as towles and bedding I just went with what would go with the rooms I have now...basically brown and throwing splashes of color for each different room. I love brown anyhow

The mikasa set is probably Countryside Italian...that's the boxed set I mentioned as well. Just simple white dishes with slight ridges on the rims, very classic.

BTW.. you can add stuff to your registry at any time from home online.. I've been adding stuff almost everyday since i registered!!
We registered for 2 sets of every day dishes... they are about $60 a set... we aren't registering for China. His mother is going to give us hers, which is beautiful and timeless... I mean how often would I really use China?? I would rather get stuff from people that need and will use on a regular basis...

we saw that i thinkkkkk and didnt end up scanning it bc we didnt like the cups too much... dont ask i think ill be puttin on alot from the website instead

We registered for China & Crystal at Fortune off's I don't really care either way if I get it. As for bedding and towels we registered for colors we liked. If we have to exchange (I don't think we will cuz I am sure we are not leaving this apartment anytime soon) we can.

I also registered online. I registered for a white down comforter so when I find an apartment I'll just put a duvet cover on the registry. For towels were just registered for neutral colors.
