Went shopping w/ bm's!! (long... reveiw of wedding center and estelle's)
Yesterday I finally got all the girls together and went dress shopping!!! YAY! I was on a mission since I will probably NEVER be able to get them all together again!
First we went and saw my gown. One of my BM's actually started to cry!! How sweet is that?!?! It just makes you feel so wonderful!!
Then we went to The Wedding Center in commack. I was really sure I would find a dress here. I have to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed. First my bm picked a dress off the rack and the lady yelled at her. She said we can't just take dresses down, that we have to look for ones we like in a magazine, write them down, and someone would get them for us. So, I wrote like 5 I liked down and handed them the list, and it sat on the desk for a full 10 minutes while the staff chatted amongst themselves. Finally, my BM said something and a lady got us ONE dress!!! So I just started taking them off the rack!! We didn't find anything there.
Now, I really had no plan after this (witch was stupid) since I thought we'd find a dress there for sure! My BM suggested David's but we couldn't because you need an appointment. So my other BM said 'I know your not a fan of Estelle's... but it can't hurt to try!!' So off to Estelle's we went!
Estelle's selection wasn't that great BUT we found a dress there that everyone seemed to like. My bm (whose a natural size 0), tried it on and it looked GREAT on her (after we pulled it back so it wasn't swimming on her)! My other BM who is on the heavier side said 'Just because it looks great on the super-model, doesn't mean it will look great on everyone.' So I had them all try on this size 8 dress witch was snug on all of them, but still looked good! So, we decided on that dress. The woman who helped us was extremely helpful! She really made it a pleasure ordering the dresses!!! My BM aren't thrilled about wearing pink.... But they knew that was the color I wanted when they accepted!!![]()

Afterwards, my preggo bridesmaid went home and the other girls and I went to the Outback. We had a great time there ( i really didn't like my food, but everyone else liked theirs!!!).
So, all and all, it was a sucsessful outing!! Next, I have to try to get them together to go shoe shopping!!!![]()
