Went to 2 weddings this weekend.... north ritz and carltun

Two weddings in one weekend at North Ritz Club and one at Carltun on the Park- boy am i exhuasted!

North Ritz Club
Everything was lovely. THe food was delicious and the staff was attentive. The only problem was the choc. fountain exploded on guests- I mean exploded! Otherwise, it was a very nice wedding. The band was very good- i cant remember the name. i will have to ask my friend again.

Carltun on the Park
OK- this place is to die for. The ballroom is drop dead gorgous! Probally, actually for sure one of the best weddings I have ever been to.
The grounds, the cocktail hour room, everything- absolutly elegant and classy. The servers were always right there- ready with my next drink- The food was to die for- If you are getting married there you have absolutly nothing to worry about! Truly TOP OF THE LINE! If my wedding wasn't already booked, that would def. be the place. i think new york city swing was the name of the band and they were out of this world. everyone was raving about everything from start to finish. what a great place!

I have two more weddings this month, one where i am getting married and i cant wait and another at the garden city hotel so i will also report on those too.

yikes- i forgot someone asked me to check out spacing at north ritz. the tables were close together- but not too close. i will have to ask my friend when she comes back from honeymoon how many people they had.

Thanks for the reviews. I can't believe the chocolate fountain exploded (that must've been some sight)...I'll definitely keep that in mind when finalizing my menu at NRC.

Oh no! The chocolate fountain was the ONE thing I wanted! LOL I hope that doesn't happen to my guests! I may have to rethink this....
