Went to a wedding at Chateau Briand yesterday

The ceremony was at a church so no review there. The cocktail hour was delicious, especially the chicken francaise! The room was huge and had plenty of seating. Plenty of items to choose from which was great b/c 3 of my friends are vegetarians so I always feel bad that they dont have a good selection.Girls please forgive me I dont remember the name of the room but its the one when you first walk in to the right.

On to the reception, it was in the room where the couple comes out of the floor. They had a bar on each side of the room so no long lines there, the only thing I felt like the party was kinda separated b/c the dance floor is in the middle but after the bars opened and the dj started spinning it was like one big party The food was very very good. I had the chateau briand and shrimp scampi. FH had the same thing.I like mine well done and he takes his medium rare, which I cant tell how many catering halls I have been to where I had to sent it back b/c it was wrong, they made it perfect! After dinner they brought out a dessert, it was ice cream in the middle of 2 cookies with caramel drizzled over it, OMG it was soooooo good, I ate FH's too! I had a great time with good service and great food, you girls are going to have a great day

Glad to hear it . . . thats their signature desert, I think it's Serendipity!!! I wasn't sure everyone would like it, so I'm not sure what I'm choosing yet . . . but I'm definitely having THAT (bride and groom get anything they want, don't have to match the rest!)
