i just got back from a wedding at the crest hollow country club. it was beautiful! the ceremony was on the premises, and it was very very nice. the cocktail hour was out by the pool and it was gorgeous! the only thing that *may* bother some brides is that another wedding was right across the pool, but it didnt really interfere in any way (the pool is super big). the reception was in a really beautiful room as well. the service was terrific and the food was excellent. the best part was the ice cream sundaes for dessert - YUM!! the only vendor whose name i know is the photographer - cassarino studios - and they seemingly did a good job from my perspective. anyway, that's the perspective of one guest! if anyone has any specific questions, i'm happy to answer them!

Hi Michelle, I am a Cassarino bride too. Do you know if it was a guy or gal??? Did they seem unobtrusive??? Thanks for any feedback

Re: Went to a wedding at Crest Hollow ...
My wedding is there in 2 months! Glad to hear it was great. Tell me, what were the dinner choices? How was the wedding cake? Was the service good? Do you know what room you were in? Sorry, but I am just so nervous about it! I know they have a great rep, but still...
Thanks!

Re: Went to a wedding at Crest Hollow ...
hey, the dinner choices were prime rib, salmon (poached with some sauce on top), and chicken (breaded and rolled with spinach and cheese). i tried the salmon and the chicken and both were excellent! the side dishes were broccoli, shredded carrots, and roasted potatoes. i swear there wasnt a single thing i didnt like! as for the wedding cake, believe it or not, i didnt even try it! i was just WAY too stuffed to try any (in addition to the cake and sundaes, there was a dish with pastries on each table!) (i'm also not really a 'cake' person). my FH said that the cake was 'good' although overshadowed by the other desserts. the room it was in was right off the pool area - had like brass bars around the dance floor, so the dance floor was slightly lower than the rest of the room. i havent seen any of the other rooms, but this one was really nice. the service, from my perspective, was really great. they seemed extremely attentive to the bride and groom, also. well i think that answered all your questions! anything else?

My wedding is at the Crest Hollow in 9 months. I'm thinking of picking that chicken dish you mentioned. I heard it's really good. I'm just wondering about the different choices of cakes I have. Anyone know about that?

Buttafli, my post asking about Crest Hollow cakes is somewhere on this board. I hear they are really pretty. We get to pick from a book I think!

Re: Went to a wedding at Crest Hollow ...
Hello Ladies Brides, I will be getting married at the Crest Hollow Country Club July 10th 2003, and I'm so excited... I have a few questions How was the cermony outside? What did anybody have for music during the ceromony, and cocktail. I will be getting married on a Thursday night @ 8:30... I wanted toput candles down the asile, and after have sparklers when we say I do.... The room that we will have the reception is the Plaza upstairs overlooking the pool... any ideas... ooooWhat have you done for seating cards besides the usually ones...favors and so on...

Re: Went to a wedding at Crest Hollow ...
HI all- I am getting married at Crest Hollow too on November 8. So unless it's freakishly warm, we'll be inside- we have the Plaza Room. Glad to hear that everything went well at the wedding that you attended! Is anyone upgrading a cake? Can you even do that?
