Went to a Wedding this Weekend!! Long

My FI & myself went to a very close friends wedding on Sunday. It was at the Central Park Boat House, in Manhattan. Really nice place. The food was great and the band (wow). Service very good. There is one thing I seemed to notice about the photg and told my FI about this also. The Photg seemed to be sittingaround alot and I think he missed alot of good candid shots. They had a video and the photog didn't take any pictures of the couples reactions!! And alot of family dancing!! It was a Greek wedding so they were on the floor all the time!! Simplicity was the key I noticed. Like the tables pieces, just roses and candles. Very well done. Also no big thing with cutting the cake which we paln to do. They also danced to a few of their favorite songs by themselves on the floor, which is what we are doing. You get to dance and share a private moment more than once throuhgout the evening or day, which ever you choose! So from now on, these are the notes i'll be taking and pass on to others. We have another wedding on July 4th!! of all days and that one is Black Tie Requested!!! Can't wait to post that review!!

can you describe what you mean about the cake cutting? what was different? what would be too much for you? Just cut the cake and feed each other? thanks

When I say the cake thing, we're not doing the brides cuts the cake song and so on. They just very quietly cut the cake when a song that they picked for that part and the photographer shot the cutting and feeding, That was it!!No big thing or fuss.
