went to another dress shop
Didn't bother to take any pics but I have to say Adriennes in Islip was a lovely spot to visit. I would deff. recommend it for mother of the brides. They have a ton of selections but $$$ but there were some that were not so $$$. I wouldn't go really during a weekend and if you do take the earliest appointment.
Tried on a few gowns, i did the whole normal wedding dress white with satin and bead work on top and on bottom and a train and hated it. Tried on a lace mermaid that couldn't go over my boobs so we tossed that back on the rack.
The woman I worked with was a pleasure to deal with very kind. I tried one dress with pink ribbons laced through the lace WHICH I LOVED but it was way over my price range. I was like as long as the pink is out I would love this dress. I tried on a gown like the cassablanca and it had less detail in the lace but more bead work and really like it so it helps me push to the cassa again.
I think in the end she realized were were not buying anything because i didn't look excited or happy about anything to the point it looked like i was sold. so she stopped bringing dresses and I said yea i will get dressed now and look at bridesmaid dresses.
Saw the color I exactly want in green 'moss' but the dress was $250 which i think is insane to ask a bridesmaid to pay that and then add a jacket and shoes. So I have to pray moss or avacado or some call sage is popular enough that the new lines coming out will be less expensive.
Well tuesday i go to Bridal Reflections and back to baldwin to try on the cassa dress. I may make a appointment for a dix hills store next saturday but i think the cassablanca is it.
