Went to Burtons, Colonial Florist and Florissma any thoughts?
I went to all three florists yesterday. I am very confused.
I loved Colonial. I thought the owner was amazing. He seemed soooo personally involved in his stuff and so interested in making his customers happy. He gave me an excellent price and he doesn't charge for delivery or set up which is nice cause most do.
then went to Florissma. They seemed very good and thorough as well. They sat with me and discussed their thoughts and colors and I was also very impressed. My only negative about them so far is that he asked me about my budget and then told me that he would get back to me with an estimate on Wednesday. I have noooo idea what takes so long!
Then I went to Burtons. I have to admit, much different than most on this site, i was the least impressed with them. I got there and they were packed with people, it did not seem like a very personal place. I thought all their pictures looked the same and all their arrangements looked like cookie cutters. He also told me that I am supposed to use my flowers as a base and add to them for the centerpieces. No one else said that, in fact, most said the opposite. Also he suggested these two color flowers and brought them over to me and they looked so ugly together. He wrote his estimate on a piece of legal pad paper and did not give me it. I am so confused.
Any thoughts? Any pictures???? Oh, also, Colonial was less money than Burtons!!! and the service was sooo personal. Help me!
