Went to look at wedding bands tonight.....

And it was anticlimactic....


FH knows the jeweler - and bought my E-ring through him. We went there tonight, which btw was his house, and he had 1 ring for me to look at. Granted it was the ring that matches my e-ring, but I just felt cheated in the whole experience.


I know that I shouldn't feel EH about my wedding band, and this whole time I wanted something that matched my e-ring, which is what he brought, but I guess I was just disappointed. His wife showed me hers (all three of them) - one was not my style, and the other two go next to both sides of the e-ring. I really liked that look, but I dunno...


Advice/suggestions/show me yours?!

Why don't you go into a regular jewelry store, or even a store like Zales and try on lots of different styles? You still might end up with the one you saw tonight, but youll at least get the experience, and you'll know it's what you want.

I just feel cheated...
In addition, it's not about cost, but the band that I saw was kinda small - like .4 - FH will get whatever I want, and I don't want something HUGE, just something.... I dunno.

I know you think it won't recapture the moment but it might. As far as the rings on both sides they can be pretty. I had an insert made so everything just fits together my side band are thick though. Even if you go to tri county it might make you feel better

Thanks ladies. I guess it was just that I had high expectations and was disappointed when they fell flat.

I appreciate your advice, and go and look to see if I can find something with more of a 'wow' factor.
