Went to pay off the balance of the HM & guess what happened?

FH and I went to Liberty Travel on Sat. to pay off the rest of the HM. We had gotten some $$ as shower gifts and figured out how much we would have to pay. Well.... when we got there we were told that we only had to pay $500, as someone had just made a $1500 contribution towards our HM! We were shocked! It turns out that my coworkers from my p/t job all chipped in (at least that his how it's looking) and contributed towards the wedding, since my co-worker was the one who signed the receipt. We were so surprised and in shock that they would do that for us (FH used to be the program manager of my p/t job and I am still there). They don't know we know yet, since they're trying to arrange a dinner. However, we saved so much $$!

It just goes to show that people can be so generous and giving.

Wow that's great! What a nice thing to do. I hope some of my co-workers think of that.

Holy cow! that is so sweet of them! Why couldn't I work with people like that. They only call me if they want me to cover a shift!

Me too. They only do things when they want something in return.

That is awesome though! That's when you know you are liked. I guess you better make sure they are on your invite list now.

These are the people from work that we actually wanted to invite to the wedding and are coming. We are truly fortunate and I am so thankful.
