Went to Petland Discounts on my lunch break UPDATED WITH PICS!

and got some new and improved chew treats for Golem! I got a bunch of Greenies, compressed rawhide bones, pig ears, cow hooves, crunchy chew sticks and a rope chew toy. I'm so excited to get home tonight and see how he does with these new treats I think I'll give him the rawhide bone first. I gave him a Greenie last night and he absolutely LOVED it!!! He was chewing on it for almost an hour - even though he pretty much demolished a large one in that time as well Ah, my little agressive chewer! Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!!

I got bailey the compressed rawhide....Geez..there were little bits ALL over the place! Watch the rope toy....make sure he is not eating the rope and if he likes to swing things around...watch out, those rope toys hurt if you get hit!! (that is why Bailey isn't allowed to have them!)

Shana - I agree about the rope toys! Asia tears them to shreds and I find little strings in her poops therefore...no more rope toys! And she did love the compressed rawhides for awhile there! Good luck Helena! Let us know how Golem does!! Oh, and btw - try NOT to inhale the cow hooves - they're VERY smelly after they've been chewed!

WOW - Golem is in L O V E with his new rawhide treat!!!! He was seriously chewing on it tonight for two hours straight - he's NEVER sat still that longe with just one toy!!!! I'm very proud of him, he is a happy puppy right now - here's a couple pics I took to show how much Golem loves rawhide....

Asia gets like that too - her eyes half close and she just keeps chomping!! I'm SO glad he's happy!!!!

LOL - I think he tired himself out with all that chewing! He was such a good boy last night, he's usually really nippy at night but he didn't bite me once!! Hooray for Rawhide!!!
