Went to Prison Today

We took the kids on a field trip to jail. I think its basically to scare them straight. IT WORKED ON ME!!! I will never ever consider doing something wrong EVER AGAIN!!! And I am already a goodie goodie. Everyone should have to go through that in High School.

I have no idea how FH works in a jail everyday... you would find me crying in the corner everyday

I saw the subject and thought 'Oh shiz. This girl is in trouble.' Well, I got to say, I went on a class trip to Rikers and was scared as hell! I'll never forget that!

Thankfully no, because I wouldn't survive 10 minutes in that place if I wasn't visiting with guards on a tour of people and knowing I was going home on the school bus in a short time. It was so hard to remain in the teacher role though. In one block the guys were saying such crude things to me. I really was freaking on the inside but I think I remained composed.

i did that!! we had a field trip to the riverhead jail and got harassed by scary ladies. hhahaha

My HS used to take us to the jail. I didnt go though. Instead I cut class with a couple of guys and smoked a blunt instead!

Ha ha ha ha LMFAO! it might have been fun! I'm a little crazy sometimes I guess! Ha ha ha! But I soooo would have gone!

They didn't have anything like that in any of the schools I went to (and I went to a whole lot of schools too). I did volunteer at a soup kitchen once. That was fun.. but the prison is way cooler! to me anyway! I also would love to visit an insane asylum.

omg... on that subject... my FH found out that his cousin is living next to a registered sex offender... and just out of curiosity he decided to check out our neighborhood... and i graduated high school with a sex offender!!!!!!! SICK!!!

I worked at RIkers for awhile and I hated every second of it. I never felt really unsafe but I felt so nasty dirty and I can still smell the strange smell thats on that island

i was reading the head line 2 and was like oh no please not.. Jail is not a great place. I used 2 teach that class While i was in jail for 9 months in River head and another 16 in Upstate real prison... but the program works for a lot of children.

Thats wat i want to do thou. for teen age girls. because i can relate to a lot of things.
