Went to RK Bridal this weekend

Went to RK Bridal this weekend and had a pretty good experience! It was the first place my Mom and I looked so far as I'm pretty intimidated by Kleinfelds - I think it will be WAAYYY over budget. In RK, we don't like how you are not allowed to take pictures of yourself in the dress but did like the woman that we worked with, Janice. She was very sweet. For you girls who haven't been there, basically it's a huge warehouse type of store where you put your name on a list, pick out five or six dresses, put them on the side to try on when your turn comes up. I tried on 5, all by Watters b/c there were so many beautiful ones!
We picked out our top two (see below) and are going to continue the search again soon!:

i love janice..i ended up with 5 fave dresses lol

very pretty, i really like the first one!

do they only let you try on 5 total? thats really not a lot, i guess thats not the place to go when you have no idea what you want. I might go when ive narrowed it down to 5 and buy it there.

I think that they let you try on up to 7. Its probably better to do a search online first and get an idea of what you do/don't like. Especially with regards to designers because you can get quite a workout going through the racks!! Good luck!

you should still check out kleinfelds though, not sure what your budget is but they start at around 1500 i believe, they just have such a great selection its good to go

when i went with my fsil for her gown the second they were out of site we started snapping pics right away. hehehe

You should definitely go check out Kleinfeld. I felt the same way and kind of went just for fun but I ended up getting my dress from there! At least go for the experience because the service is amazing. If you are honest with them and tell them your budget they will work with you.

i absolutely LOVE both of those dresses!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!

Thanks girls!! I might try going to Kleinfelds! This weekend we are going to try Bridal Garden and Davids!!

They let me try on alot more than 5. After I didn't find 'the one' within my 5, the lady was bringing me more that she thought was more of my style/what I was looking for.

It probably also depends on how busy they are.
