Went to Sandcastle....

for a wedding and HOLY CRAP!!! IT WAS AMAZINNGNGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

honestly, this was one of the first times ive walked out of a wedding completely satisfied 100% with food and service!!! fsil is getting married there in april so i know ill be walking out stuffed again lol

where to begin??!! oh! just 1 minor hiccup i want to call attantion to future sc brides.... ch started at 6 pm, me and fh got there at about 5:40 and there was like a mob outside from the previous event, we had no idea where valet was, it was a littl chaotic because there were about 75 people all waiting outside for their cars! thankfully someone left a spot on the street that was right out side so we just park it ourselves right there.

so we walk in and go into the hospitlaity room (ch wasnt open yet), they had champagne going around which was nice. gorgeous room. ( ihavent been there since me and fh went to check it out for our wedding and it looks SO MUCH NICER!!!

so then we go upstairs to ch which is an AMAZING room, they really made it look awesome, those renovations paid off 100%. the cocktail hour was one of the best ive been too (dont worry russos brides, ive never eaten at russos lol so i cant compare hahah). they had a pianist play in the little nook thing while everyone was eating. But can i just say what was a little annoying was that the lights in the room change according to the music tempo so we were getting a little dizzy with the lights changing colors so fast in the room lol cuz we were right in front of the boat where the light are. Anyway, moving on, i think my stepdad glued himself to that seafood boat, the couple went all out and even had lobsters YUM! Basically everything was great during ch! top notch! oh and they had a few butlered hor deurvs that were sooo good!

then we went downstairs into the recpetion (smaller room), everything was beautiful! dinner was like 6 choices me and fh both had filet mignon which was excellent! we had an awesome time... the only thing is you have to go back upstairs for the bathroom which got a little annoying but cant do anything about that.
