Went to see Brett Mathews today

I think there work is so Good. They are a little on the pricey Side but I think it is so worth it. Any Opinions Please do tell..

I went to see them too, and I liked their work, but I didn't book them because they don't give you your negatives back until 10 YEARS after you're married! It was very important to me to have my negatives, so that was the reason why I didn't choose them.

But they definitely were competent photographers! I have a few friends who used them and got tons of beautiful pictures.

I asked about negatives today and was told 5 years 10 is alittle much huh,

I thought 10 years was a bit much, too! I guess they lowered it since I was there. But my FH and I are amateur photographers, and we wanted the negatives to be able to do some work with them on our own, in the darkroom. We're going with Imagine Studios. As soon as you pick up your albums, you get your negatives. Before you decide, you should check them out! (If you haven't already!)

What about Mark Kauffman? I liked their work too. There's tons of photographers out there, you'll find a good one!!

I used Creative Compositions and loved them! There work is excellant. They are in the same price range as B rett M atthews I just thought they were more personable and offered more in terms of telling the wedding story, especially for my album. I recently asked them about my negatives and was told that I can have them (for free) 1 year after my album is complete. I didn't think that was too bad.

I am using Patken and they are amazing. I love their work. I saw Jennbaby's proofs and all of them were gorgous.

They are really wonderful at Patken. So nice, caring and Steve is a gem. He trained under the owner and his work is incredable. Definatly check them out

I am using B rett M atthews and I am thrilled with my choice. I visited countless photographers including those on this site, in the end both me and my FH both felt in our gut that B rett M atthews was the best choice for us! Their photos are breathtaking and I feel you get what you pay for!!! The negatives thing is annoying, but I don't think I would have much use for them anyway, and they are safer being stored there and than with me.
