We also looked at swan club, metropolitan and the sans souci. We found that the sans souci had by far the best food in the area, if food is important to you then without a doubt go with the sans souci.

thats great! ive never been to the swan club but ive heard great things! i also love the harbor club too though!
I loved swan club but you do have to share the gardens with at least one other wedding. I heard from someone who went to a wedding at swan club that you could actually see the people from the other wedding too. It was really important for me to be the only bride and the last thing I wanted was to see another bride ( I know diva) so I booked elsewhere. Jordana was super sweet though and if you are not having a summer or spring wedding it shouldn't even be an issue.
Until we saw Jericho Terrace, Swan Club was in first place with Chateauy Briand... It wouldve been tough for us to pick between either of those, just glad it didnt have to come to that LoL
Also I think it is bs that some halls make you book first/put down a deposit b4 you taste the food. I was pretty much turned off by every hall that said that because I really wanted to compare b4 I booked. At NRC they said that if you didn't like the food they would return your deposit but how many people actually ask for the deposit back after they have booked even though the food is not exactly what they want?
Yeah most places wouldnt give us a food tasting either... Westbury Manor gave us a gift certificate for the restaurant and we had a food tasting at Crest Hollow.... Other than those we saw like 20 other halls and never tasted food...
i know at the swan club, you can go any afternoon Tues- Friday and have a free lunch once you put the deposit down.
