So Antnony and I went to the morgage place last night...and he gave what our morgage payment would be. We are ok with the payment. But I am so nervous. It is all I keep thining of.
Even though we are comfortable wtih the payment. Im scared. Anyone else feel this way?

We are petrified, and do not forget to add the taxes on. But they would not give you a mortgage if you could not pay it. Just keep thinking that. Take deep breaths ... I keep telling myself that.

It's so outrageous. I can't sleep at night. OUr mortgage will be double what we pay for our house we rent!! I also know we can financially do it but it still makes me nervous

that's not necessarily true...
they don't take into consideration one's lifestyle and will approve people for more than they can 'afford'. we have access to way more $$$ than we could actually pay back if we want to eat, commute and not be naked.
always run your own numbers and check your assumptions against mortgage company assumptions...

Our mortgage will be double as well - but in the end I would rather not give my current landlord $20k a year just for rent - Its an investment - as long as you can handle the payment its the best option....
