My MOH insists on making my shower a surprise. I told her today its impossible with online registeries and everyone peaks. She said 'well after you have everything on yours, just don't peak'. How is that possible? Everyone peaks. Did any of you not peak at your registeries?
I helped plan it so I wasn't surprised.
The day of, I knew. When I was told why I was going to the resturant, it was so random that I knew it was the bridal shower.
I really did not peak because I really wanted it to be a surprise. No one ruined it for me, so I was VERY happy. And yes I was very surprised.
Yes! I HATE surprises. I can't take it...it stresses me out! LOL. I did peak at the registry,like every day but still didn't know when it was. They got me really good though...one of my best friends had been really sick and just came out of the hospital, she was getting married two months after me and was supposed to have an appointment to see floral samples but could not go since she was still so sick. I was her MOH so she asked me to go with her FH and see the flowers. This was not something out of the norm, so her FH (who is my BIL) picked me up and we went on our way. He told me he had to stop somewhere and pick up something from his friend who was having lunch at this restuarant. He asked me to come it with him so his friend didn't ask him to hang around. So I go in and BAM! There was everyone! LOL
I was sooooo surprised!!! And I also checked my registry everyday, but I guess I got lucky because people started buying things as soon as I put it up, months before my shower.
OH yes I was a peeker. But thats not how I found out. I found out because I saw a note that my MIL wrote to my mom that had the date of the shower on it.
