That's awesome!!

I highly suggest 'O' if you can get tickets. I would purchase in advance if you really want to see something particular. If not, there is a 1/2 off ticket place on the strip where you can get tickets the day of, but your choices are limited.

Have a great time!

I LOVE VEGAS... we went last July for FH 21st bday (his bday present from me ) Plus we went this last march. We've stayed at the Venetian and Treasure Island. Both really nice places. We've seen the Cirque du Solei shows Zumanity, Mystere, and we've also seen Hairspray and Bite. All but Bite being really good shows. Definetly try to see a Cirque du Solei show, they are amazing. My friend lives in Vegas and has seen them all. She said Ka was her favorite. But i think they just opened a new one called Love based on Beatles music and its playing at the Mirage.

We're actually staying for free - the Westin 2 nights (right behind ballys), and Ballys the 3rd night.

We did some looongass timeshare presentation last year and 'earned' 2 free nights. Not too bad.

I'd love to know more about the 1/2 price ticket booths!! Anyone know?

There is one down by the big coke bottle... south strip, kind of across from NY/NY.

I gotta warn you though.. its NOT really the good shows.. its kinda the B/C-list shows at the main casinos.. like Splash at Riviera...

BUT, my experience could be isolated, anyone else have input?

I agree...it's not the big name shows like O or Celine Dion...but it was just a suggestion if you wanted to see a show. The big shows are usually sold out months in advance. I purchased my tickets for 'O' 8 months in advance. Recently we saw Penn & Teller and I really enjoyed them. After the show they go to the lobby and you can take pictures and get autographs.
