I wish it was light out so I could take better pictures of it. It's that beautiful fluffy snow that sparkles in the light. It looks so pretty. I did my best getting pictures for ya. I think this storm is heading your way next so I thought I'd give everyone a sneak peek of whats to come.

*********UPDATE********** The morning after: I took these pictures early yesterday morning before I left for work. We got a lot of snow from the storm I was talking about above. Take a look at my morning after pics.... Have you guys gotten any snow yet???

So pretty. Chicago is getting it now so if could be headed this way.
My FSIL and her family live in Verona WI -- about 15 min from the University. She is has been there for about 3 years and is still having a hard time adjusting to it!

No, it wasnt enough snow to stay home for me. But a lot of schools had a late start. DH had gone away on business the night before so I was on my own with the snow that morning, and there was NO WAY I was shoveling all that snow. And I dont know how to use our snow blower. So I just turned the 4 wheel drive on in my truck and drove right through it. DH was not happy when he got home last night and had to go out and snow blow cause I didn't..

hmmmmmm....I dont even know where Verona is. Is it a small town? Cause I can understand how that would be hard to adjust to. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in WI other than Milwaukee cause the rest of the areas can be pretty rural. That would drive me bananas!

The town is rural but with 4 kids that is pretty much what they needed. They are right outside Madison so 'the city' is only a 10 minute ride away. I know madison is mostly a college town but at least it something. I think it is mostly being so far away from everyone -- her husband's job transferred them out there.

Ohhhh bummer! I looked Verona up on the map. Looks like its just south of Madison, like you said. I'm actually not a big fan of Madison. I can understand why she's having a hard time though, I don't have any family or friends here either, other than my DH's friends who I've now become friends with. But it does get pretty hard being so far away from family. I guess you just have to make the best of the situation. Find the positives.
