I am trying to coordinate all of my stationery and paper projects right now. Being that while school is in session all I can do is cut paper.
I am also thinking of making a trip down to the NEW Home Depot in Manhattan to get some caps for my ribbon wands!!!

I have to find a gown for my MOH and BMs. Other than that, I can't do much because it is football season and Joe is tied up all day on Saturdays from now until November with coaching.

Girl I still havent been able to find a dress (not putting in much effort either). But I cant decide if I want a chapel or cathedral veil. Do you think cathedral is overkill? I just want the veil to go a bit over my dress, like maybe a foot. I need to make a decision because Im having it made in my home country, Guatemala.

Right now I am trying to get in touch with Taralei to confirm my trial this Sunday, working on direction cards for the church (FH insists that he can provide better ones than the church has ) and I'm trying to get in touch with the organist. Lots of little things. I need more lists!!!!

Are you visiting different vendors or just one. You post about seeing one vendor and booking them. I wish my vendor choosing would have been that easy. I am so jealous! I had blisters and ear aches by the time I was done!

I am looking for hair/makeup (you werent kidding about vendors needing passports), thinking about the officiant and researching vidoegraphers.
One bride really made me re-think the video- I was so sure I didn't want one. But since Fh's grandma had a minor stroke, it made me want to preserve our happy memories of her.

FlaCa, We are looking at two vendors for each area (photo we looked at perceptions and Duet, Flowers we looked at LA Blossems and Flower Michele) the only thing we booked on the spot was the hall and that was becuase I have been to a wedding at the hotel and it fit all of our criteria (and price range). I dont want to go to more then two per thing because I basically know what I want and If i click with the person (and the price is what we need) then I will book. I've read many reviews on all the people we've looked at so its all good.

Word sista! It took me so long to pick the hall and the photographer, now I m going through the dress thing! I think its fun though... everything except getting the places to call back.

How far in advance should I book a florist if I'm not having centerpieces? Can they do more than one wedding per day?

You know I'm very simple when it comes to things..I know what I want and if they can deliver then its all good. I went dress shopping at Boneventure Bridal and found a dress I love but I'm going to one more place to try one more (hence 2 places) lol..but i'll probably go back to Bonneventure becuase I love the service there. Oh we are probably going to look at 3 bands though..I already know my colors, favors and I'm writing my ceremony now...I need an officiant SHEESH

Just having my veil made there. I was very sketical about using just any old seamstress to make my veil for me. I spoke with my aunt who lives there and she said to send the material to her because this lil old lady is well known for making masterpieces. I told her I didnt want anything fancy, I just want it made right. Now Im just having problems finding the fabric that I want.
