We're moved in!!!!! :) But I think my cats hate it!
We moved into our apartment yesterday! I am so happy! Now we just have to unpack and get settled. But I think my cats have been tramatized! They were stuck in their carrying case all day yesterday! When I opened the door to it, they refused to come out. I had to pull them out and carry the frady cats around the apartment! They won't eat and now they are hiding and we can't find them!
What do I do? Do you think they will warm up soon? I feel so bad for them!p

it will take a few days for them to get used to their new surroundings.....give them time. Just go about your regular routine and they will come around

They'll come around..do you have any favorite toys you can put out..what about rub some catnip in their toys? That always makes my cat very happy!

Believe me they will come around. I think when we moved from Queens to LI (one apartment to another) it took Xena a good 3 days to be comfy. This time took 1 night (thank goodness)

Thanks for the reassurance! I will try the catnip, we have some at home. And I will go buy some mice (fake ones) for them to play with. I miss them, and want to see them. We'll see if they ate, when I go home in a little while.º

cats are very moody - so they're probably mad at you for moving them without their permission (you gotta love them!)
i'm sure thy'll come around.....do they like Pounce? my cat would do anything for it....and that's how I get him to come out when he won't
