So we went tonight for the first time to register and we thought that we were going to be able to go scan and the registry women came around with us and scanned for us. Has this every happened to anyone else! what is that about.

I've heard of people walking around the store with you to show you where everything is and make suggestions but not actually take the fun of shooting the gun at the stuff... I would have been pissed LOL.
The only place I have been to register with the gun is Crate and Barrel and they just set it up for me and I walked around by myself.

Yes, they did this with us too. I actually put random stuff on in the store with the consultant that I didn't even want just to be done with her.

They did that with us when we went but we only did our china, stemware and serving wear so I didn't really mind
Macys did not care what we did which was nicer
I have yet to add things at BBB so I don't know if they will follow us again

yea same thing happened to us... she followed us around and i felt like i couldnt even discuss stuff with fh about what we wanted, like she was listening... it was annoying... macys left us alone though

that is soooo weird!! i've added to my reg at 2 different BBBs and they just give me the gun and let me wander and have fun. other couples there doing the same. Huntington (the better one) West Babylon (small selection). The woman just showed me where the sections were then went back to man her booth lol

Yes I did. When I registered a woman helped me and I was so thankful she did. I had no clue what was good or a waste and she gave me her opinion as to what was the right choices for me. When my sister registered last year that happened and we thought' W T F ' But in the end we were so happy, that when it was my turn. I wanted the same thing. It was 1,2,3. As long as she was helpful, its def worth it

DEF dont walk away. Believe me its a very helpful and good thing if shes there. Its such a long process that she helps make it easrier and quicker. Go to Westbury. they were SOOOOO great there
