Let's get to know eachother! What kind of wedding are you planning? Our wedding is on December 1st and are incorporating a Christmas theme into the wedding. Let's talk about everything..cocktail hour, vendors....I'm so excited! :)

When we were little my sister was a flower girl. We stayed for cocktail hour and we were taken home by family that were not invited. (It was my cousin on my moms side and my father parents took us home) Thats always an idea. I wish I had a flower girl! I have no young kids in my family!

As for the tasting - its so weird why some can and cant. I bet its because you are already booked. We wouldnt book until we tasted.

As far as tasting it could be cuz they have these showcases throughout the year so you can taste the food then. They have another one coming up on October 12. I hope I can make it.

Does anyone know how many tables fit in the Garden Room? Also, anyone going to the showcase on the 12th? I'm gonna be there at 8 PM so hope to see you all there!

I didn't do a tasting, but I was there for my nieces christening 2 years ago and I can tell you that the food is awesome!! Everything we had was delicious, so much so that we went to look there for our wedding. She also had the cordial bar and that was also great!!

Do you know if WM has a 'no shot' policy? Some places we looked at did, but WM didn't mention it. Not that we are looking to get wasted, but a shot with my BMs before the reception would be nice

If I'm not mistaken the Garden room holds ten tables comfortably. You could put a couple more but it would be a little tight

Thank you. I hope they'll let me change to a bigger room. My guest list is just growing and there is no way I want to put 150-160 people in that room. I'm crossing my fingers!!!!

Well I'm not sure how WM displays it, but a friend of mine had it at her wedding (not WM), and it was basically mashed potatoes with any fix ins you wanted on it ... Bacon, cheese, broccoli, sour cream, chives etc.

Omg so I missed the original show time but woke my FH up at 12 am to show him our place was on TV , am not to worry about the brides on that show bc they didn't even like the animals and I love that, I am going to ask that all the steaks are well done though, for my guest, and theu could of just added salt or pepper to thr mash potatoes, everyone will never be satified and she didn't deserve to win with our winning place her attitude ****** !!!

So ladies, how about the ceremony? are you guys having it at WM as well? My BM gave us the grassy knoll if the weather is nice or the hill room. Any of you guys using those areas?

The mashed potato bar is awesome! They have them at the showcases. It's basically 3 types of mashed (regular, garlic, sweet potato - maybe other flavors) and then a bunch of toppings (cheeses, chives, onions, bacon, sour cream, etc)

Delicious!!! You add whatever you want to your mashed potatoes

Hi everyone!

My FH and I are getting married in the Manor Room on June 29th. As far as themes, we're doing the floral thing I guess. We'll just work with what WBM has going for them!! As far as a tasting, yes! you should be able to taste. Apparently 4 people can attend the tasting (I think, maybe it was 6) and any beyond that you have to pay for. Def ask your banquet manager. We are working with Natasha and she is fantastic.
