I am looking to book with Westbury Manor. I have a smaller wedding then most, so I will only be able to use the Garden room. Has anyone had this room for their wedding? They say it holds up to 120 people but I think that is a bit of a dream. I will only be having aropund 85-95 and I am not sure if I am convinced that the room will FEEL big enough. I will be having a DJ and do not want people to feel squished...please respond if you have been to a wedding in this room or have had one their yourself. THANKS!

I attended a wedding at the Westbury Manor last April. The cocktail hour was small, but the food was amazing....and I'm a very picky eater! The food was really great and the place is very pretty. I'm not sure what room I was in, but the wedding had about 300-350 people...and they sat about 16-18 at a table and we were so squished!

I went to a wedding there in oct...very nice! but they used the bigger rooms..so i'm no help...

Hello, My Wedding is at the Westbury Manor for Sept. of 2008. We also have the Garden Room. Our Banquet Manager said that the room can hold up to 140 guest but it is better to have less than that. I'm inviting 140 so I know I will probably end up with 125. I booked the hall without seeing the room due to the fact that my fiance had seen it. We visited there a few weeks ago and I thought that it looked a bit small but she assured us that it would be plenty of space. I'm actually going to call her to see if she could let me sneak a peak at the room when it is set up for about 125 guests. When we went it was set up for a fund raiser. Not the same. I will let you know what I think when I go and don't hesitate to ask them to see the room set up for the amount of people you are having before you book.
