Re: Westbury Manor

I am a Wesbury Manor bride - getting married there this Sept. What can I say- I fell in love with it the minute I saw it - the Scotto's reputation can't be beat in terms of quality of food and service!
Everyone raves about! The gardens are beutiful to take pictures and/or have your ceremony.

I don't know anything about the Floral Terrance but good luck with your choice - FM me if you have any more questions!

I am also getting married at the Westbury Manor in September. The place is beautiful - the way they do all the grounds is unbelievable. The food is always great, and so far everyone there has been super nice to us. I can't wait.

Re: Westbury Manor

I've been to the Westbury Manor recently and I really enjoyed myself. I was also a Scotto bride and I have nothing by great things to say about them.

I've never been to Floral Terrace so I can't tell you which is better. Good luck in your choice!!

I'm a Scotto bride also. I'm having my reception at Chateau Briand but I have been to a wedding at Westbury Manor and it was great. The grounds are gorgeous (specially with the peacocks hanging around outside) and the food & service was great. Just like the other girls mentioned I only have good things to say about the Scotto halls.

I've never been to Jericho Terrace. But I've seen pics and the website and even thought it does look like a nice place, Westbury Manor has a much classier look and feel to it. It just screams elegance.

Another WM bride her - I love the old world elegance the place has. To me, it does not look like your typical catering hall. I LOVE the grounds and the peacocks! The Scotto family is known for their food and service so I am confident everything will run smoothly. FI and I fell in love with it the minute we walked it.

Sorry, I do not know anything at all about Floral Terrace. Good Luck in your decision!!

Re: Westbury Manor

I'm getting married at WM (in a year and a day!) I have heard nothing but good things about it. The food, the decor, the service, those PEACOCKS - all great! Floral Terrace was the last hall we looked at before we booked. We chose WM because we wanted an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and because our wedding is in the afternoon, we wanted to take advantage of the sunlight.

Re: Westbury Manor

I'm another Westbury Manor bride and FH and I loved every last little old world detail (gas-lit lamps that line the driveway ). As a Father's Day treat, we took our parents to dinner at the Polo Lounge (WM's restaurant) on Saturday and even though it was raining and it there were a lot of people inside, the staff had everything running smoothly. We were able to see the place in action. The waiters were pleasant and funny old Italian guys (in the restaurant) and the food was great (it's the same caliber as what they serve at weddings, this much I have heard from a few people, and it's great). Our parents are so pleased with our choice.

Scotto Brothers are great!

Re: Westbury Manor

I am getting married at WM next year in July. The attention/service we received from them was incredible. The food was amazing! My fiance was loving it! The rooms and gardens are so beautiful!
I did go look at Floral Terrace and Marcelo (I think that was his name) was very nice to us, the reception hall room is impressive, but it was too big for us. I also wanted to have the option of a garden for my wedding so I chose WM. If you have any questions, FM me.
