Re: Westbury Manor
I attended a wedding there about 2yr ago the food was amazing. I found it to be to dark for me may-be it was the room the bride booked. or maybe that's the manor effect the bar had everyone feeling nice staff very nice happy hunting

My daughter, who's the bride , and I loved it...but they were so not Handicap accessible and that was a deal breaker for us.

Amazing! My wedding day was better then I could have ever imagined. They made sure everything went as planned and the food was great. I am still receiving complements over a year later. Although it is not handicapped accessible they will work with you we had one guest in a wheelchair and they brought her into the Manor Room through the garden. She used a walker for the BR.

I absolutely loved Westbury Manor. My wedding day was perfect. Everything was great and I got so many compliments. They were also very reasonably priced.

Thanks everyone for their input...I greatly appreciate it! We also looked at JT and Terrace on the Park, but WM is still our favorite!
Not sure if you can or want to, but can anyone past or future brides tell me what they quoted you for a saturday. We are looking at the first weekend in November 2012, and are willing to work with any of the days but Saturday is still my fav!

Re: Westbury Manor
I was in a Bridal Party at Westbury Manor the other week. The palce is beautiful and I loved the cermony. Can't speak on the food becuase i didn't eat anythig. I reception was a lot of fun and I'm sure the guests have no complaints however as part of the bridal I noticed a few things that I wasn't too happy about. You can FM me for more info but baiscally there we FIVE events happening at once and the bathroom we were going to use to get ready in by the bridal suite had to be shared with another party. I felt like we were being pushed around like cattle from one room to the other and at the end of the night they kicked us out of the bridal suite before the wedding was over for the incoming wedding. A bridesmaid couldn't find her phone and they wouldn't let her look for it. You know where it ended up? In another brides bag at the garden city hotel!!! The bride also left her shoes in the suite and no one called her to let her know until I called looking for my shoes in the rush to get out and saw hers in their lost and found as well.
Sorry if this is a rant. I don't mean to upset any WM brides. I acutally don't think the bride noticed any of this.
