Re: Westbury Manor
Hi! This is my review from my wedding last year. I hope it helps! Any other questions, just FM me and I'll try to answer. I would defiantely HIGHLY recommend WM! They were great!
ceremony/reception: WESTBURY MANOR my bridal attendent was Kelly and I feel so bad that I forgot our matredee's name. They were both excellent! Kelly kept bringing me whatever I needed and removed any stains I got on my dress. She knew just what to do! By the end of the night, Kelly was like a close friend. The matredee was also wonderful and made sure everything went perfectly! The coctail hour (we only got to be ther efor the last 30 minutes) was fantastic! So much food! It was held in the library and atrium. It was so pretty and many of my guests commented on how wonderful it was. Oh, I forgot to mention, the WM had a breakfast for my guests before the ceremony at 11:30 since my ceremony was at 12:00. Most of my guests showed up for this and I have been hearing wonderful reviews about it. Reception: great! Again, the food was plenty and delicious. The staff did a great job making sure that everyone was well taken care of. They made sure that everything I brought with me for the reception was cleaned off and packed up for me (toasting flutes etc). The cake also came out just as me and DH wanted it to!

I think Tanbride just got married there in the end of September. She just did her review and she loved them. I think she even posted pictures. She was in the Manor Rm.

Thanks for the review. So far they have been very helpful. I know there is no food tasting but I hear the food is incredible. FH and I are going to test out the restaurant. Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Westbury Manor
I went to look at WM last week with my MOH and spoke to banquet manager (Frank) about all the options/pricing. I came back a few days later with my FI and mother and they loved it! I mentioned to Frank that I wouldn't be able to sign without trying the food since I never attended a wedding there. He made a reservation for the 3 us last night and the food was great!!! They gave us a large assortment of appetizers and a bottle of wine on the house - we just paid for the main course. My only suggestion would be to look at the wedding menu choices before going and try some of those dishes. I had no complaints after our dinner last night - and signed right there on the spot! Any questions feel free to FM me.
Good luck!

Re: Westbury Manor
We went to a wedding there last month. The cocktail hour outside was beautiful! The place itself is gorgeous, the grounds are very pretty! To be completely honest, I thought the food wasn't great. I think because the place is so impressive, we expected better. It was very average wedding food. She had an awesome seafood boat at the cocktail hour, but there wasn't much else to chose from. The dinner itself was fine, very average. I had the chicken, it was dry and uninspired. The intermezzo was delicious, the ice cream cake was very good, the wedding cake was quite yucky. The service was fine. There was another wedding while we were there, and we constantly ran into the other party, you had to pass the other reception room to get outside, so people were always looking in on the reception.
I know this sin't the best review, but I am giving an honest guests point of view. I apologize if I offended any WM brides!

Re: Westbury Manor
I just had my wedding on 9/21 at the Wesbury Manor - I LOVED IT!!! Our wedding was in the Manor Room - the dance floor was enormous and people were dancing all night! The staff were so awesome, the food was amazing and people have been calling/e-mailing me for weeks to rave about it - you have nothing to fear! The moment we pulled up, we were met with our Maitre de Chris and my bridal assistant Lorena were amazing! I didn't have to ask for a single thing - they were attentive and fun! Everyone raved about the food and the service. We were blessed with a beautiful day so we had the cocktail hour outside - we added a martini bar and a raw seafood boat and everyone was just blown away! The gardens were beautiful and the pictures came out gorgeous - while we were there for 1 1/2 hours before the cocktail hour taking photos they brought our parents and the bridal party our food and drinks as a pre-cocktail hour - amazing! DH and I were able to attend our full cocktail hour and actually managed to eat there and some of our dinner while still mingling at the tables. The best night of my life! Good luck and let me know if you need any other info!
