I'm not a WBM bride but I just wanted to say that all your pics are going to come out gorgeous. I went to visit it during my reception site shopping and I fell in love with the grounds and OMG -- the peacocks!! Lucky brides!

I am glad to hear that there are some Westbury Manor ladies. About the Peacocks coming out in the winter, i am not to sure. You should call to find out. I have a big concern. I will be having 130 guest at my reception and I am in the Garden room. Do you think that will be to tight? My fiancee's biggest concern is the size of the room. What do you think ladies??

Are any of you having a band/entertainment for your cocktail hour??
I was thinking to have a Calipso band or Steel Drums. It is in the month of August. Any body doing anything different??

As far as 130 people in the Garden room that should be fine because it can seat upwards of 150 people. Plus you get the library too so people have a lot of room to move around. I am not having a band for cocktail hour just for reception. They can pipe in music for CH.

I'm in the garden room - I have at LEAST 150 people on my list, but when my mom finds out how many people I cut off it may be more - but nothing to worry about. The room can hold up to 163 or something like that. There's another WM brides thread on BHB WM Thread

when do we plan our menu? I am getting married in 8 months and feel that I should atleast be planning the menu or something. I think we do table clothes and napkins a couple of weeks before the wedding. Right??

The menu is usually about a month or 2 before. We just did ours a few weeks ago.
