Westbury Manor Brides

Hi Westbury Manor Brides!

I am getting married there next year in the Manor Room. I love all the wood, but I feel like it's a little dark. What's your take? Am I overreacting? Any suggestions on how to lighten to room? I was thinking of primarily white floral arrangements.

WM has nice Ivory damask tablecloths that would lighten up the room. I'd go with them instead of a darker color on the tables.

is your reception during the day or night? either way, i think the amount of light that comes in, along with the chandeliers, really adds the perfect ambiance. we didnt feel it was too dark at all, and though our wedidng was a day wedding, we've been to night ones there as well... and it was always perfect
