I am getting married at westbury manor this summer. I love the hall very much. However, lately, I've been looking at some pictures from weddings that were there and its driving me crazy how the ceilings appear to be so low. You can see the ceiling in so many of the pics! Are there any other WM brides who feel this way?
I'm such a perfectionist, I even drive myself crazy!

Re: Westbury Manor Brides
I'm a WM manor bride and yes the ceilings are low..so I would suggest maybe not doing such high centerpieces...but other than that who cares!!!! the rest of that place speaks for itself....the beauty of it...flowers...service, food. I don't think our guests will be looking at the ceiling and if it bothers you tell your photographer to be aware of the ceiling in your pics.
YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!!!!!!! it makes it that much more cozy for your and FH and your guests.
Congrats and good luck with the planning

I agree, but I actually don't remember seeing the ceilings in my pics
seriously, there isn;t anything you can do, just tell your photog about your concerns..
Don't stress your self over this since you can't control it...
And believe me after the fact you will wonder why you wasted so much time stressing over such silly things, I did it too!!

Yes, I've noticed it too... BUT i must say the ceilings are beautiful, and so are the lighting fixtures. So many halls have drop ceilings with sconces. Not my taste, even if they are higher up.

I've noticed that too but its not that bad. I decided on doing alternating high low centerpieces to maximize the height of the room.

The ceilings actually were one of the reasons I chose there. I wanted old crown molding. I have a ceiling thing. There are sooo many beautiful places to get married but I couldn't picture paying $160 pp and looking at a drop ceiling. Well it was the peacocks & the ceilings that I loooved!
