I am getting married at westbury manor this summer. I love the hall very much. However, lately, I've been looking at some pictures from weddings that were there and its driving me crazy how the ceilings appear to be so low. You can see the ceiling in so many of the pics! Are there any other WM brides who feel this way?
I'm such a perfectionist, I even drive myself crazy!

I love it!!!!!!!!! I do notice the low ceilings in pics but everytime I go to visit the ceilings look high and the room looks huge. I also love that its dim in there and the ambiance of my room. What room are you in?
Im a perfectionist too but you have to put little things aside and worry about the bigger things

i'm in the Hill Room which is upstairs, and does have a low ceiling, but it actually doesn't bother me at all. i think if i wanted high CPs it would, but i love low CPs, and that's all you can do in a room w/ low ceilings. i've never found the downstairs rooms to have low ceilings. i think they're beautiful!

I heard somewhere that ceilings were a lot lower back then because people were shorter, lol, I'm not sure if this is true

Im doing high Cp's, you can def do high CP's in any room with low ceilings. Here is a pic of my room with high Cp's

Yeah WM has alot of history to it. They restored it without ruining its history

I agree with MPAS----it looks like it in pictures, but when you go there---I never noticed it I think the room is very big and roomy--I really don't feel like the ceilings are that low

My sister got married there, and seh was in one of the smaller rooms on the 1st floor. Not the big one. And i dont think the ceilings were low at all.
I have been in the bigger room for a showcase, and thought it was a good height
I have pics in my album I posted them instead u can see the ceiling in some pics

yes totally noticed that the ceilings are really low...you are not a perfectionist! lol
