Hi guys do you know if we can decorate our ceremony site in westbury manor??? My ceremony will be at the grassy knoll.

Yeah they told me you can add what you want, but they will have flowers down the aisle. I'm not sure how they put flowers around the gazebo that's there, I was hoping to see pictures of that again. If you want flower petals down the aisle or anything, you provide that.
I was pretty shocked they provided all those flowers though!

Heather is the sweetest! She really really worked with us on pricing and actually gave us close to 2012 pricing for 2013 after a mix-up with price quotes. Even before all of this she threw in cocktail hour sushi when she realized that she and my FH share a passion for sushi. They were discussing the best places to go on LI.

My FH actually went to drop off the initial deposit on his own since he works near WM (we both live pretty far into Suffolk County, so it can be a bit of a hike). He was very silly because when I asked him about the contract he said that he didn't see one and forgot to ask... cut to a few minutes later after I looked through the folder he had brought back and find the contract, with his signature and everything.

Also, I notice that the ceremony has been left off of the contract. That's good. We called Heather immediately and she was very apologetic and assured that she would be updating the contract with the changes immediately. We are going on Saturday to have dinner at the Polo Lounge and Heather will be meeting us with an edited contract to sign. Hopefully it goes well! She is such a sweetheart!

I really need to negotiate a sushi bar. I completely forgot to ask for it while we were booking. I'm so bummed. We were in the car when one of my parents was like, Oh you should have asked for that!
Maybe I can talk to them at the showcase.

I'm sure that they will work with you on this. We were told to look at the pamphlet on extra items but not to look at the prices because we wouldn't be charged that much. lol

Had dinner at the Polo Lounge Saturday night with my FH. It was soooo good! If you go, I definitely recommend the Filet Mignon Tartare for an app and the Scallops for dinner. So yummy! The service was also wonderful- they brought everything out at just the right time. We didn't feel rushed and were not waiting on any of the courses.

We arrived 30 min early to meet with our BM, Heather, to review some contract changes and leave another deposit, and while we waited for her, we were also served two drinks each on the house at the bar before dinner. I love this place!

OMG im looking at this place too, my fiance wanted to leave a deposit on sunday to hold our date, but without brining my parents to see it i didnt feel comfortable doing anything, plus i dont want my parents to find out we did anything cus then they would freak that the hall is trying to take advantage of us and from that point on my dad will say no to them and i would be crushed. I really really hope nobody takes my date :( now im starting to have anxiety :( me and my parents are going to see it sunday and hopefully we sign but if they have to think about it my fiance is gonna go put down the deposite to hold the date....ok no im freaking out

You can actually ask them to leave one. I left a 1000 over the phone to hold the date until my mom was able to see it also. You get a full refund if you don't end up coming to an agreement/booking the place. Good Luck! HTH!
