Hello ladies, I wasn't even thinking about this but can we or do we need to get musical entertainment for cocktail hour??
Usually yes, but you don't have to have it.
I wanted to but since I'm in the smaller room I may not bother. I don't want the room to look so overcrowded plus they said the dj's music can be heard throughout.
We're just using our DJ to do the music for cocktail hour.
How does that work if there already set up in the Manor room... and am guess that will be extra for the DJ????
I am getting married at the Westbury Manor. We are not hiring anyone for the cocktail hour. They said that they will pipe in music during the cocktail hour.
Our DJ is playing music during the cocktail hour.

They mentioned they would pipe in music but our band is including the music at the cocktail and ceremony for us!
Ok here's the deal .. I wanted CH music and told our DJ, but it's in 3 different rooms and they said they would need to bring in 2 systems. So FH asked WM if they would play music over their sound system for our CH and they said no problem that when we come in for the menu to talk to them about the music. So now we don't have to spend extra money
DJ is going to do it but if WM can pipe it through, I will do it that =))
If it comes with your package .. that I say to just use your DJ, but if you have to pay extra for it that I would just go with WM
We are having our DJ take care of cocktail hr since they are going to be there for the ceremony. Some companies throw it in if you use them for ceremony and reception or charge about $250 for cocktail hr
DJ is already enough, $250 is too much, we've decided to go with out, so people can talk...
