OUr cake from the WM was DELICIOUS!!!!!!! We picked vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing and a thin raspberry layer inside. This is a pic in case you want some ideas. Our florist did the flowers.

We were totally off the wall in the traditional wedding cakes...hehehehe... Plus we wanted something with a little autumn flair to it...so we chose Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting! OMG!!! It was AMAZING!!! People are still raving about how good it was!!! I can't wait until our 1 year to dive into our cake!
We opted for the square stacked cake.

What are the options for the cake? Do they offer red velvet cake?

Unfortunately I don't have my list on me and God only knows where it is right now. I'm sure they could do a Red Velvet cake. The place to call would be either WM themselves or Erga Bakery in Bethpage. They're the actual bakery that makes the cakes. You could even try it there before they make the cake. That's what we did...we bought a small carrot cake before we picked our menu and new...THAT CAKE HAD TO BE IT!

It's a chocolate cake, but is a deep red color with vanilla frosting. Gorgeous and delicious cake!

it's not actually a chocolate cake, it's mostly vanilla based with a small amount of cocoa powder added. if you are looking for a full on chocolate taste, this is NOT the cake for you, but it is DELICIOUS. I actually make it a lot at home. cream cheese frosting...YUM!

I am going to finalize my menu on Monday, maybe I will go to the bakery over the weekend to take a look, and perhaps taste a few things, any one do this there? Do they offer sampling?
