Have to call in with my final count on Friday and on Monday I go in to drop off all my stuff!!! I can't believe it is so close!

Well we picked our menu Friday. We are so psyched. There is so much food people better bring thier appetites. We didn't get to sample the appetizers but Kelly was really helpful. We had the older menu but we were able to mix in some items from the four seasons.

We added the Shrimp boat to the CH as well as an upgrade on passed hors... we also added one more chaffing dish. Kelly threw in an extra selection to the meal choices. So we have four choices

Chataeu Briand
Victoria Roughy
Chicken Verdi
Veal (w/sundried tomatoes)

Vienetta Ice Cream... Yumm

We chose the basket weave cake.

So happy but only have one concern!!

Has anyone used the EXECUTIVE ROOM!!!???

I am really really concerned about the executive room, we are to use the executive room as an alterative if it rains on the wedding day for the CH. After looking at this room again it just seems much too small for all of our CH food and 130 people. Much too cramped. WBM tells me it will be fine but I do not visualize it being so. With all the food we are getting at the CH plus our additions it just doesn't seem like it will work out.

Has anyone been to an affair in this room with 130 people?

Hi all! I posted my review on my picture post and just wanted to let you all know that you have nothing to worry about. The place, the food and the people were perfect. Everyone was talking about what a great place it was. I wish you all the best of luck.

We chose:

The portabello mushroom appetizer
Followed by a pasta (I don't remember which one)
Followed by the Intermezzo

For our dinner choices
Chautebriand
Chicken Romano
Orange Roughy
Rack of Lamb

We chose the square style cake with yellow cake and the combo filling of canoli and chocolate mousse.

We chose the Vienetta with Sundae topping.
We also chose ivory colored linens.

I think that is everything. I am getting hungry thinking about it.

We went with the Orange Roughy because we thought it was a little different than the regualr salmon. Roughy is a fish. I forget how it comes prepared but I am pretty sure it isn't with a pasta. I had it once and thought it was excellent.

There are so many of us May brides, its getting close, were plannign our rehersal dinner somwhere in franklin square this week, that will be one of the last things checked off on our list.
