Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I have to agree with Yem~ I haven had a problem with anything. My bridal attendant & Matra D' were AMAZING!!!! My wedding was on a Friday night and there were no lines for the bathroom. I was only in the bridal suite once, that when we first got there, I had to put my stuff in there and then I never saw it again. So dont worry that theres no bathroom in it b/c you wont use it. You girls have NOTHING to worry about. They do an amazing job!!!!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Hi Ladies,

I just returned from an almost 3 week honeymoon. Mediterranean cruise (Greece, Turkey, Italy, France & Spain) and we stayed a few extra nights in Spain. We had an amazing time.

Our wedding was flawless and we heard we had the best weather before all the rain. I guess I must be the lucky october bride. We honestly had everything run smoothly. I only had wished the BMs flowers were a little larger and the cake was square instead of round. But honestly you are the only one who notices these things.

You truly feel like it is a fairy tale and you will smile...smile...smile all day. It was the best day of my life. I rarely posted any pics or anything for that matter however, I promised myself to post pics after the wedding since you all were very helpful. So a few non-pro pics below.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Hi Ladies,
Just want to assure all the future WM brides that you will have a great time.
Ines, my bridal attendant was absolutely fabulous. It was my pleasure to have her with me - she helped my entire bridal party for various needs and always, always had a big smile. She even had a back up toothbrush for me (hectic morning caused me to forget mine).
Raul - Maitre' D was also great to have on our side. I would definitely considering requesting them for your event. It's true when the brides say the bridal attendants tips are under-planned. So, I planned accordingly and put extra in her envelope - which I was so glad that I did. She was the one person I will always remember from the WM staff.
.
All of my guests are still raving about the event. Elegant is a common adjective.
.
I wish you a great time and DRY weather. Sadly, I could not use the grounds for pics because of the downpours.

We have Raul...We're soooo excited!!! They said they do not know who our BA will be, but we're both just so excited to have Raul! He's already gone above and beyond just from meeting with him the other night! Whoo hoo!

Congratulations! I'm so glad your day was beautiful despite the weather!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

For any WM Brides looking to use the in-house florist I say GO FOR IT! Bobby is amazing and did a PERFECT job for our wedding day. We were a little nervous because of the changes that incurred after booking with Christopher, but Bobby assured us that he would have been doing our flowers anyway and that we were in good hands....He was right on! I was so excited to see him the day of the wedding so I could tell him how incredibly happy he made me! Below are pictures of his gorgeous creations - Our CPs and our Bouquets...

Oh ~ I actually ended up loving it so much that I called Keepsake Floral and am having my Bouquet preserved.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

The cps and bok's are absolutely gorgerous!!!

I didn't know that they had a house florist - I would have definitely looked into them!

Everything looks like it was so nice - and you, of course, look stunning!!! I love your dress. The chair covers and bows look awesome - FH and I picked out the same ones

Congratulations, everything looks lovely. I look forward to reading your review

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

WM brides - did WM pack up a lot of stuff for you - like from you dinner/desserts your BA made for you?

I really would have loved to eat more of the fondue stuff - but when I got home - it wasn't there !!!! :( I wanted to bring home everything - I think a lot of it wasn't boxed :(
Now that everyone is raving about the food - I wish I could have had this!! argh !LOL

Hey Peacock! The only items we got wrapped up was the two extra dinners they promised we could take home, the Viennese trays that we requested multiple times to have wrapped up (still don't think we rec'd them all...) AND we asked multiple times for some of the CH food to be wrapped up since we didn't get to have any but they did not do it. I've read posts in the past where this was done, but apparently things have changed.

WM didn't box anything up for us and we had one no show.
It would of been nice since I only ate a little of the cocktail hour food and absolutely nothing else.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

We got a call yesterday (11-8-05) that it is time for us to go in and talk about the menu.

Isn't 3 months early for this? My wedding is 2-11-06. I guess it doesn't matter, but my weekends are so swamped already with finding an apartment, meeting with other vendors, etc. I just feel like I am not ready to do this yet, I haven't even thought about picking the CH stations yet. Ugh, I need a tums.

hmmm...that is early. I would question it. Maybe you can reschedule. We did ours approx a month before.
