AND I just found out that there is three weddings happening there in the morning!
Us at 11am, Someone upstairs at 11:30am, and then the girl I know at 12!![]()
Starting to feel like a wedding factory.![]()
I agree it sounds like it...I booked it and now its too late...whatever...my cocktail hour starts at 6:30 and the reception ends at 11:30 in the upstairs Hill Room...Im not expecting top of the line service there but I swear I better not see people from other weddings walking back and forth pass my room OR the cocktail room...
You shouldn't...that would mean people are just wandering since the hill room is upstairs and the other rooms are downstairs.

I know for a fact that they read this thread. As a comment was made about a post I did the other day....I wish they could respond to the post regarding the wedding crashers....
I spoke to my DOC who said she will make sure this does not happen, but with THREE weddings going on that afternoon I do not see how this can be possible.

I believe they said they would charge us 1/2 for children under 10 (maybe 12?) if we meet our minimum. Otherwise they will count towards the min, and we pay full price for them. I would have to check my contract to be sure, but its at home.

You will go over all of this at your menu appt. BUT be sure you bring a copy of your contract. The cut off age limits are different than what Gennaro originally quoted us. They of course went with what we booked.
Back when we booked it was Children under 10, but 5 and over were half price. Under 5 were free. Now it's 12 and 4 I believe.

I dont think WM can control who goes in what parties- too many people and everyone is everywhere- when I went there a few weeks after my wedding for DH cousins firehouse dinner in the garden room, we walked around and it was a madhouse! there were people everywhere- the line to the womans bathroom was all the way to the fireplace- I mean it was insane- I said to DH it wasnt like this when we got married was it? I didnt remember that cahous when I went to the bathroom, people were going upstairs to use those bathrooms, woman going in the mens bathroom- I was taken back! So after seeing that and then my video confirmed it- YES people crash weddings! and I am very very upset! I think for any major events I will choose a 1 party hall!

there is NO way even for the DOC to know 'who' is a guest to your party and who isnt- just keep your eye out!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
No I am not kidding there are only 5 stalls downstairs to accomdate the restaurant, the garden room and the manor room , then upstairs we only saw 2 bathrooms with 2 stalls in them. In the downstairs they try to keep 1 the big one open- for the brides and handicap- and when I was there , a stall was out of order making it only 3 that were allowed to be used- there is a bathroom attendant and she monitors the bathroom. So if there is another wedding or party in the 2 rooms upstairs just think of how many people there are and how many stalls for women! Not many!!!! I wish I was joking , DH waited with me and said this is a JOKE!!!!!! we were by the fireplace- that is why women started going into the mens room!!!! I love WM but they def do NOT have enough stalls!
