Westbury Manor - Code Bleu

I got a postcard in the mail today from Code Bleu saying they are having a showcase at WM on 7/16 and 7/31. Do you girls think this would this be a perfect opportunity to tour the hall at this time? Or should our 1st time be when it isnt having a showcase??

Anyone plan on going???

Go to the showcase...the entire purpose of the night is for them to impress you...take a look around, see if you like it and then go back on your own...You can get a great idea of what it will be like to have a wedding there by seeing what they do at the showcases.

I've never been to a showcase before... Not sure what to expect.... All I know was that I really disliked that expo I went to and dont want another repeat of that!

I went to a tasting..which i guess is a little different, but we tried the food, they had a dj there (their house vendor) and all different house vendors they recommend...I guess a band show would have them highlighted obviously, an maybe some snakcs and all...it will still give you a chance to see the hall though

Thats what I figured... I'm the type that likes to just take a look around... If I like what I see, I'll inquire more into it... I dont like trying to be 'sold to' ya know??? It turns me right off!

yeah definitely...they didnt try to sell us on anything...we were able to just do our thing..i felt more pressure when i met one on one with a bm. I felt like they were always trying to sell sell sell, not just tell me everything about the place and let me think...i didnt feel that way at CLM though which is part of why we booked it!

Yeah, I can see myself gettin nasty if they are too pushy... Thats just how I am... I'm scared of those BM's Hahaha I'll let Fh do all the talking... Thats what he does best!

Thats one of my faults too!!!! I have to try to act not all happy and giddy when I see something I like... I have to get in a nonchalant mode... maybe get prices to go down or get something added in Hehe

yeah...i brought my dad with me...he is your typical italian from the bronx...he had no trouble talking and not being giddy...i didnt even know he liked the place until a week after we visited!

Hahaha Yeah I believe I will have to do the same before I book a place... He knows how to talk to the pushy people I just didnt know if it looked bad that this lil girl has to bring her daddy in to decide I guess its okay huh?? I mean they are paying for the damn thing... At least in my case

I would definitely go to the showcase. You get a chance to see different vendors and how they setup for a wedding at the site.

I would defintily go - they are so much fun! I have many things booked already... but I still go to them just because they are so exciting... & I love the ones that have a fashion show going on!
