Please help me out. I just signed up to this site because I need so much help. I am in love with these 2 halls but I cant decide on which to choose. Please tell me your pros and cons on the two. This is killing me.

I have been to the Inn at New Hyde Park... and have nothing but awesome things to say about it... it's beautiful!

Go for tastings at both. When I was skeptical about booking WM I went to a tasting and I was floored... any places I had seen did not compare after I tasted their food. It's amazing. WM is also great for pictures... their gardens are amazing. I did recently go to the Inn at New Hyde Park for an engagement party and it was pretty nice though.

You wouldn't believe the transformation that the Inn has undergone...there are sooo many brides booking now because of the reputation that they are quickly gaining...I specifically chose there because they met ALL of my picky requirements ( 1 wedding at a time, they are building both a bed and breakfast and a hotel that you and FH stay in free of charge) etc...etc... they just offer sooo many grades that I didn't find anywhere else.....they built the Inn after doing research as to what couples are looking for in a fairy-tale wedding....and above all I cannot wait to get married somewhere NEW...Well that's just my personal opinion!!!

Thank you. I love the Inn and couldnt believe my eyes but it bothers me that it is right on Jericho Turnpike and you can see the peoples house in the back, like it is in their back yard but the inside is incredible. Mabye I shouldnt let little things bug me like that. Whereas The Westbury Manor is in and not right on Jericho. Does this bother anyone else?

defintiely go to a tasting at both.... i have heard wonderful things about both.... but I have been to westbury manor.. and the wedding was FABULOUS

I like Westbury Manor better because their landscaping is gorgeous and you will have gorgeous pictures! They also have very good food and their room is very pretty when it is all done up! Good luck!!

i didnt visit the inn at new hyde park, but i did visit westbury manor and it is absolutely gorgeous! the outside area is beautiful and so are the rooms. i would have booked there but i didnt meet the amount of people needed for the larger room. otherwise hands down it was the most beautiful place i have seen out of the halls i looked at.

Well, I am a bit :) partial but I would go with the Inn at New Hyde Park. Although, of all the other long island places I saw, Westbury was my favorite. So I had the same two finalists you did (but note I only saw 4 places seriously) The reason I went with the Inn was that it looked so pretty inside (bridal floor and light colors were something I really liked) but also I was nervous to split the cocktail into three rooms. Both are beautiful - just go with your gut! I think with either you made a good choice! FM if your are interested in more details.

I think she may be talking about Westbury Manor... the cocktail hour is in the conservatory and library... split by like three stairs but connected to each other. You wouldnt really have anything to worry about though because the weather in September is beautiful so you could have it outdoors.

Yes. Sorry - I was talking about Westbury Manor. My wedding is pretty large (hopefully not more than 250) and that is the only reason I was a little concerned. I got a really good vibe from Felecia at WM though. I would just think through your pros and cons at both places and which place is more you. Either is a great choice.
