Westbury Manor Sept 2016

Hi Everyone!!!

My best friend just recently got engaged and is looking into Westbury Manor for a Sept 2016 wedding. It's been 4 years since my wedding so I'm not much help as far as quotes go for venues in LI right now so I was hoping some of you ladies can help. Does anyone have any price quotes they can FM me for Westbury Manor next year? Other venues in the area? ( chateau B, crest hollow, Woodbury, etc) thank you so much I appreciate it!!!!

As a past Westbury Manor bride myself I can assure all of you who booked there that you are going to love every second of your wedding day!!!

(Sorry for posting in both boards I didn't realize I wasn't posting in the 2016 board)

I feel like Westbury Manor quoted my friend REALLY high. Not sure why but she was quoted between $130-$145 per plate. I know my wedding was 4 years ago but my quotes were a lot less then ($100-$120). Wondering what's going on. Did anyone else receive a quote from Westbury Manor that they can share to help me compare? I appreciate it!!!

Thats reallly crazy. I know another girl here on the board got it for cheaper than what I paid. so that seems strange. Who did she speak too?

I was quoted extremely high as well via email. 160pp+ For the Sunday night before Columbus Day. I called the woman and basically accused her of ripping me off with that quote and she basically said there was nothing she could do and that was accurate. So i hung up on her. With a few choice words. But I know brides like futuremrsgomez have booked since then for MUCH lower. Ugh I still get mad thinking about it lol.

I'm doing the weekend after columbus day cuz they were already booked. Its crazy cause she gave me one price over email. then when i went in she said they lowered prices for OCt- Nov so i got it for cheaper.

Wow so they are really all over the place. I'm very surprised as I never experienced this when I booked my wedding. They were so professional and fair with their rates and willing to work within your budget. I wonder what happened these past couple of years. This really puts a bad taste in my mouth. Thanks for the input ladies I will let my friend know. I appreciate the help and I'll keep you posted how it all works out!!

She ended up booking a Friday night for a lower rate after a lot of back and forth. In the end she loved the manor and couldn't picture her wedding anywhere else. Thanks again for all your help ladies and good luck with the planning!!!!
