WESTBURY MANOR SHOWCASE TONIGHT!

I'm so excited !! I'm taking my dad with me so I'm looking forward to see what he'll think. And i want to finally take some pics of the place cuz i always forget to do that. I havn't booked any other vendors so hopefully there will be some good vendors there.

hey ladies---i'll be going with my friend who is a 2010 bride !!!!!

i just checked trafic cuz i'm comming from Brooklyn, getting to LI is going to be a mission

Just got back from the showcase.... fh wasnt there so I didnt want to get any add ons without him but we're DEFINTELY getting the slider cart and carnival cart! They were awesome!

Also - I was super excited to speak with Bodyrock and the guy was like like here, check it out and handed me the booklet thing, didn't even try to talk to me!

Plus the girl at the Denise Leli booth was a little rude. She was like, did you buy your dress yet and I said no and she said something like 'look when you get your dress' Didnt know I needed my dress just to see different headpieces!

Other than that, it was an awesome showcase!

Yes it was!!!!! Angela, i think i saw you but it was so crowded everyone was moving around quickly, so i'm sorry i didnt say hello =)

plus FH almost ran over one of the peacocks in the parking lot! i took a pic, but i didnt load them on my computer yet.....i wanna hear what everyone else thought!

but for now i'm off to bed, long day tomorrow =)

I was excited to see body rock as well, and I thought the same exact thing as you. So I will not be calling them to make an appointment! Stopped by to see Bravura entertainment so they seem cool I scheduled an appointment with them.

i though the showcase was Ok. For some reason I pictured it differently, but it was cool. I mostly concentrated on flowers and everyone was great except for Party Sensations. I asked my fh to take a pic of a centerpiece i liked and she yelled at us saying 'No, you can't take any pictures. If you want pictures make an appt. to come see us'
I though that was a little rude. Other then that everyone was nice and the food i tried was very good.

I was there...waiting by the chocolate fountains and walking around with cotton candy lol

I thought some people looked familiar but I never go up to anyone and say 'are you from LIW?'

I saw the bride who is getting married the week before me 5/25/09....it was so nice to see so many 09 brides!!!! Last year when I went most of the brides were 08..woo hoo we are getting closer ladies!

Also I saw a bride getting married 5/31/2010...that will be my one year anniversary. I pretty much have all my vendors booked was looking for limos and Dj's tonight but body rock turned me off they were rude!

I had the best time!!!! It was so much better than other big showcases I went to!
We booked a bunch of appointments and swindled a deal with the carnival cart and some kind of snack wagon at cocktail with burgers/hot dogs/chicken stuff... i forget what she called it...
But we were sooooo excited!!

Also I pigged out like a mad woman....AND I think I want Felicia to be my BM...I am so thrilled that we went!

Im ONLY disappointed that I dindt get to meet any of you :(

Oh, you DEFINITELY want Felicia.... she's awesome!!!

I totally want Inez as my bridal attendant for my wedding... she was working at the carnival cart and I was talking to her and she seems sooooooooo nice!
