Tonight is the westbury manor showcase probably the last one I go to before I am married! I'm really excited to see the hall once again,anyone else going??

I was at the showcase too and loveddd the martini ice luge!! Def considering adding that! The cake wasent bad- i agree that it prob dried out from sitting out. Cannoli cream was good! Have any of you ladies finalized your menu choices, linens, and stuff like that? When does that happen? I booked 2 weeks ago and unsure of what to do about the details. im meeting with dazzling moments in a few weeks-do they handle that?

The only thing Dazzling Moments did for me was set me up with a couple of vendor appts. I guess if you need more done you can call them.
I'm using the gold table cloths but was wondering if I should use chair covers. They have new chairs but I still like the look of the chair covers. Also your menu is done 1 to 2 months before your big day.
How are you decorating the table for place cards?

Thanks hunn!! Love the chair covers too and they look so pretty with the ties on them. Do they offer gold ties? What are your colors? I didnt even think about the decor for the place cards! Another thing to add onto the list lol. Im considering doing tall candelabras on the tables, tealights scattered along with tiny diamond jewels, and mint julep cups filled with hydrangea. So possibly candles and some mint julep cups filled with hydrangea and roses for the place card table. These are all just ideas though..I havent met with any florists yet. Any affordable suggestions?

My main color is gold not sure what I'll ad to it. Any suggestions? I talk to someone from Pedalstals florist at the showcase they quoted me $85 for a really nice size centerpeice, really pretty.

Since I'm getting married in December my colors are gold and red..I am putting my girls in gold and was planning on using the red table cloths, but when I saw them at WM I thought they were closer to brown then red..I still want to incorporate the red since I don't want it to be all gold, so I will be doing gold tablecloths with the red underlay and red napkins. I also want candelabras for centerpieces..I have not gone to a florist yet, I am waiting to go in December so I can physically see what is in season...for my place card table, my FMIL found light up tree branches at Marshalls and she put together a pretty piece, so I will be doing that with pictures of our parents and grandparents on their wedding day at the place card table.
...FMIL found a candelabra outlet in Jersey, I am planning on going to florists first and getting quotes but I believe they run about $100 a candelabra.

Sweetpea are you going for a certain theme? Ive always loved ivory and gold with some sparkly accents like crystals. or even small accents of black. Im sure whatever color you pick will look great. gold is a timeless color to choose!
Gardellmerle- love your branch idea! what color candelabras are u looking for? I'm searching for candelabras myself and will let u know if i come across any good deals. If u dont mind me asking, what outlet in nj r u thinking of using? i know JAF Gifts off Amazon.com carries candelabras and they said I could pick up candelabras in brooklyn from them. they also offered me a bulk discount rate when i inquired about the product through email.

Def let me know if you find good deals! Ideally I would like a gold candelabra but they are harder to find..this is the website for the outlet in Jersey..they run about $109 each for a set of 20...I haven't been quoted by a florist yet so I'm not sure if thats a good price...
I'm going to try to attach a picture of the crystal one I like, if it doesn't show up its the 5th one down...

omg I was looking at that website last night and fell in loveeee with those candelabras!! they are exactly what i want but i wasent sure if it was a safe website to order from, so thats good to know its legit!!! i havent seen too many gold candelabras but i will keep my eye out! at the bridal showcases some florists quoted me $50.00-$75.00 just to rent a plain candelabra. i dont know if that includes candles. Im leaning more toward buying them so I could try to resell them and try to get some money back. are you planning on having any flowers on the table?

I went with the same ALL white love the look as well, I want the entire room ALL white, and I wanted to know do WM provide any candles?

apparently they have an actual store in Jersey so if I order from there I will be going to the store...Ideally, I would like to add red flowers to the centerpiece because my colors are gold and red and I am doing gold tablecloths, but it really depends on price. I'd be ok with just a candelabra if it's the right one!
