I read a lot about tipping your maitre'd and bridal attendant. Does anyone know if Westbury Manor have a set amount we need to tip? If not, what is consider a good tip???

Re: Westbury Manor Tipping?

Hey there, I'm having my wedding there on Sunday Sep. 7th 2008 (16 days!!!). They told me that the suggested tip for the maitre 'd was $4-5 pp. That of course is just a suggestion. I happen to think that that is a little high, but what else would you expect them to suggest. I've read that $2-3 is much more typical. Good luck!!

They suggested tipping the attendant between $20--$100.

my orignial bm who is no longer there told me $2-3 pp for the md and also told me that i dont have to tip the banquet manager at all...now that she left....is that right? i am not even sure the BM will be there on the day of? So i am assuming that I just tip the md and my attendant...right? my 20% grat should cover everything else right?

You do not have to tip your BM, chances are you wont even see your BM the whole night, they are really just the 'sales' person at most halls, some they over see the whole wedding process, they are your contact, etc. and they check in thru out the night but that is about it. Other halls the BM is your MD, I didnt tip my BM.
