Westbury Manor/Garden Room/Library

Westbury Manor/Garden Room/Library

We like the Westbury Manor. Before WM, we only looked at venues that hosted one wedding at a time due to our own preferences (we are a smaller wedding of about 125).

My concern is that they host 2 weddings at a time with an 1 1/2 in between. We would be the smaller of the two that night. I know if we choose WM that I will get over it but......

Who has been to an affair there and did it 'feel' like you were sharing the facilities (outdoors, bathrooms, lobby etc)?

TIA ; )

I didnt want to be at a place thats a 'wedding factory' where 5 or 6 weddings can be held. Sharing bathrooms is no biggie to me, their cocktail hr area is pretty well seperated.....overall i have heard NOTHING but rave reviews about WMs service, food, and overall feel for their affairs.

my bro's wedding was here & even though there was a 2nd wedding there it was still fab. didnt feel like it was a factory at all. the rh doesnt have that feeling at all..it feels more like an estate.

also my hairdresser had her wedding here & said wonderful things about it.

if i were gettng married on li, id prob get married here. great place!!!!!

I was at the manor last saturday for dinner, and two weddings were going on. It wasnt crazed at all. I was able to walk right into the bathroom. Plus when i tried to sneak a peek outside, there was a woman just standing in the lobby asking me if I was here to eat dinner, to stay in the dining room ~~!!! I told her i was getting married there and she started to laugh, and I thanked her for doing it, because now i know during my wedding, everyone will be where they should be, with no confusion. Her one job was to just stand there and make sure things were going smoothly...and no crashers!!

Good luck with the decision. I chose WM mainly because they really assessed our personal needs and wants for that day. When I went there I didn't get the 'wedding factory' feel, but I did get it at other venues.

I just went to a wedding there about a month ago..and it was the smaller of two weddings. The only reason I knew another wedding was going on was because the bride told me before hand, and when we went outside we saw people waiting for their cars that weren't in the party. You couldn't even notice inside. It'll be fine. The food was great too.

I haven't had my wedding yet (71 days!!)... but I know that there is going to be another wedding going on the same time as mine. I'm not worried at all though since I've heard nothing but wonderful things about WM (part of the reason I booked with them!)

I'll let you girls know though after the wedding how everything went!
