Ok Last night FH and I decided to change the wedding date to October...Im thinking October 10th but I have to ask him..anyways we also really like Westbury Manor...however my brother got married there...and I wont here the end of it..But I also dont care because I know the food is great and I want the bigger room ( Just because its bigger and not he room they had) I mean it will be so diffetent with tons of flowers and what not...Would you book and say screw everyone that has an opinion....

Go with what you want! But i do understand b/c I really like the fox hollow but my friend (and most likely a BM) is getting married there in nov and i dont want people comparing our weddings. You should at fox hollow if you are considering westbury manor I believe they are owned by the same people?

It's your day so have it where you want it! Even though your brother had it there...you will have totally different colors, flowers, food, etc.
And maybe you might get a better price being that you brother already had his there...so it might work out for your benefit

i dont think you should worry about it to much. i can see where you are coming from but if you love the place and you know the service is good then there shouldn't be anything stopping you.
my fsil had her wedding reception at jericho terrace about 2 years ago and i have a feeling that we are going to have our wedding there as well. we love the dome room at JT (his sister did not use that room) and we both like the skylight room for the ceremony (since we won't be getting married in a church a nice ceremony room is important to us and we both like the skylight room at JT). since his sister had a church ceremony and a different reception room i don't think that our weddings will be that similair. only fh's family was there for her wedding so it will be totally new for my family and our friends. if you love the place then i say go for it. fsil knows that we are leaning towards JT and she seems excited about it and i am sure she is flattered that we loved the catering hall she chose enough to want our wedding there as well.
