Whadda you mean they shrunk!!!

Okay, so I know that things after pregnacy are different. Less Sleep, More hips, No Free time, Plenty of Stretch marks.
So, I was warned about everything from the pregnancy police when I was pregnant with my son. The before, during and after.
So yesterday I tried on a dress that I love to make sure I can still fit into it, I've worn it 2 times, plan on wearing to wedding next week and it fits like a glove, except I got room in the cups!! I have also noticed the past few weeks that my bra's fit was a little off, but I just thought it was the rib size that was the problem, til I got fitted today.
Excuse me?? How exactly do I weigh more post preggers, but my boobs, are an entire cup size smaller??
Like sagging isnt enough!! UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH
Nobody told me this could happen!! I was so not prepared for this reality!! I knew that your shoe size can get larger as well as your ring size, but not one comment about the shrinkage issue!!

ETA:Not to mention the fact that my son is a year old, and my body has been at stable weight for several months, I would have thought this would have been over and done with.

I know this prob seem soo stupid to some of you, but this is really hard for me. It's been sheer hell for me to adjust to the way I look now. And just when I was starting to accept the fact that I am different, permantly different and then this!!

I'm really sorry that you are feeling so down about your body. I sometimes get into the same sort of funk, and nothing can cheer me up.

I bet you are beautiful, regardless of the flaws you *think* you have.

I'm sure you are still beautiful! I know we can be our worst enemy sometimes. Sounds like you need to treat yourself to a new dress!

as I explained to Shamma Friday night... mine never grew at all. My friend grew two sizes and now she has cleavage!

I am NOT prepared from them to shrink. At ALL!!

Aw...feel better. Sometimes you get into these phases of real negative body issues and a few days later it doesn't seem nearly as bad!

I am 10 weeks and mine haven't grown at all either.
Is it normal if they don't?

I imagine mine will grew a little for breastfeeding...but really nothing happened. And I don't think anything is 'normal'. I think we are all so different!

Ladies who have not had a growth spurt, consider yourselves lucky.

I started big, and now I'm tremendous.
People who go a few weeks without seeing me and then see me again always have a comment about the girls, and a few men on the street have stared so blatantly that I want to smack their filthy faces.

Sue, I think we all see certain changes at different times. For instance my SIL already felt HUGE (belly-wise AND booby-wise) as soon as she found out at 8weeks! (never mind now at 12, she feels like she's going to give birth! )
My 'girls' dont make a big change till the 2nd trimester (Which im in now) and it gets 'worse' as you go along... (and some girls boobs might not even grow at all) Also as far as showing and gaining weight same thing. I gain really slow in the beginning and then faster towards the end. (I gained 36lbs w JA) I still dont feel belly-preggo (I CANT WAIT!! ) Im still in my regular clothes, just some days I feel a little 'bigger' than others... I remember switching my pants to bigger sizes 20wks and later..

Oh great! My chest may not grow at all and my belly will probably be huge. I'm really going to feel attractive.

im sure your girls will do SOME growing.
(especially when your milk comes in!) UGH, that is painful growing! Girls read up on 'engorgement', its something you can never really prepare for... I dont know if its easier on BF moms or formula moms. but its when your 'girls' fill up with milk and it gets SOOO PAINFUL (at least in my case it was)...being new at it (for new moms) youre not yet a pro on releasing milk (whether feeding baby or 'preparing to NOT BF'-not sure what the procedure is for that, I think you let the milk 'dry up' which must be VERY painful) but eventually i think everyone experiences it at least a little bit...
anyway, how did I get off on that tangent...
just had a bad flashback, many tears one night in the hospital

Jennrenee .... Same here, sweetie. I must've changed bra sizes at least three times ... and the other night I was looking in the mirror & was getting really upset to think that my milk had not even come in yet! I can't even imagine what that's going to be like! And the worst of it is ... I'm growing out of my maternity clothes & only have about 9 weeks to go! I could get more use out of the things in my closet, except that they don't fit anymore! Michelle & Jenny, I'd trade places with you in a second!

Being a woman is sooooooooo hard.
But depsite all the changes my body has gone through, DH still adores me.
So I guess I'm not that hideous!!

I had a friend that had her firls get smaller. She started pre-pregnancy at a good d - had her 1st, bf'd and stayed huge (larger than her original d) then got pregnant with the 2nd, bf'd again, when stopped this time, lost her whole chest. I swear I don't even think she is a b now.

I guess there is no normal and everyone is different
