What a bummer..

What a bummer..

I spoke with a travel agent last week over the phone & made an appt for today after work to meet with him. we are looking into Beaches in Turks & Caicos & he was telling me all about it over the phone because he was just there last week with his family. He said he would get some #s together & we would meet at 5:15pm on Monday.

So i talked to FH on the way there, we were so excited and all. I pull up & the lights are off & it looks closed. The door was locked, lights were out & what pissed me off even more is the sign on the door says they close everyday at 6PM!!!!!!!!! It was 5:15pm & no one was there. I left a message on their machine but what a bummer. I only have Monday nights free & won't be able to get there again for 2 weeks! So annoying!

Can anyone reccomend their Travel Agent in Suffolk County?

That is RIDIC!!! Definitely go to another TA..I'm sorry I can recommend anyone I usually do everything online...

That sucks! Looks like that travel agency might be closed permanently if they keep that up! Sorry=(

Ginger peachy in east islip I've heard good things about. But mu fh swears he gets the best deals by researching online.

Also try I think its called cheap carribean if u google it

Do you know this gingerpeachy person? A kid I teach at dance, her aunt is a travel agent & i think its ginerpeachy....lol well atleast thats the email so i'm assuming so! lol

i would totally go to another place, thats horrible! if they cant even call to say they are closing early i wouldnt trust them to remember to call for something important like 'the airline bumped the flight 2 hours early' for example.

hope you find someone better :(

that is completely unprofessional!

Why not book it yourself online? It should be the same price as what the TA can get, or maybe cheaper.

i agree very unprofessional on their part. They should have at least called and said they were closing early or something. Good Luck finding another TA.

Ugh, sorry to hear that.
Believe it or not, AAA (the car/roadside service) has a travel agency. They have a location in Smithtown & Garden City, and they get good prices because they are such a big organization, that is probably who we will be using.
