What A Day!! ~Whew~

What A Day!! ~Whew~

Ok, let me start off first by saying I got all the BMs dresses...all paid off and in their possesion...what a job that alone was. LOL. Well... we have an issue, and I need your opions!! PLEASE! lol

For staters...Here's the dress they all ordered:

See how they are all tea length? lol. Well, to make the two MOHs stand out, we ordered extra length, which they said would be MORE then enough...specially since they are only 5'3ish. LOL. They paid an extra $30 for it!!! Well, sure enough, it only comes up to their ankles!

Now...with that being said, we were thinking of bringing up all the other girls dresses so they are just a little shorter then the above pic... So, is it OK that they are ankle length for the MOHs....or does that look funny?

We tried adding addatinal sheer (we found IDENTICAL material at JoAnns...) to add to the bottom...on the inner liner... But we weren't sure if we liked it...

Do you think ankle-length is OK???

Please help!! Thanks

Hmm to be honest im not a huge fan of ankle length...i feel like either t length or full length...is there any other way you can make the mOHs stand out? maybe different flowers or jewelry?

That's the thing...I'm soo mad that they spent an extra 30 to get the length... so to just cut it off sorta annoys me...And we weren't a fan of making it longer. I guess I'll have to call the Bridal shop and see what havok I can bring up to get their money back or get smoething free out of the deal....

They will be standing out with different BOKs...different jewlery, and my sister is adding gems to theirs....

Dani have them try on a dress with an uneven hem line first.

I was considering that dress for my BMs (still am actually) but one of my BM's father owns Helens and she works there and said she has seen tons of people try dresses like that on and that it looks strange on many people. I think its a great way to solve the problem, but just have them try on an uneven hem-line dress first and make sure you like it and that it looks ok on them before you try it with their dresses.

since she has the dresses in her possession when she goes for alterations she can have them pin it so she can see THOSE dresses that way. I think she should do taht rather trying on any old uneven hem dress...this way she can see just what it looks like

Thats a good idea, I just think she should see it first before she does it.

Yes, of corse I would have them decide it they like them pinned up before anything is cut off. Thanks for thinking of that though. They both have perfect bodies, with hot legs, LOL, so I know that won't be an issue... at ALL! But, to be sadfe I am doing it anyways. Thanks again sooo much! I can't wait to tell my other MOH!
