What a great day
I went dress shopping for the first time yesterday. I was so nervous that I wouldn't find anything I like (I was the one who's dress selection was too simple for my co-workers yesterday) and I've never been all that comfortable with my body. I have to say walking out of the dressing room and having my mom, sister and two teenage nieces sitting there was a little overwhelming but very special at the same time.
I think I found a dress I fell in love with. I couldn't stop thinking about it last night and even my mom & my nieces called me to tell me how much they loved. It's simple yet I feel like it's so classy and beautiful. It was one of the few dresses that I felt completely comfortable and even a little sexy in![]()
But the best is yet to come! I got home and FH and I started talking and we finally made the decision to book at East Wind. We went to look at it about two weeks ago and it's all I could think about and talk about. We were so giddy last night. Even popped a bottle of champagne that we had in the fridge! I had said months ago that we should open it when we decide on a RH. I walked into the kitchen and there FH was opening it. It was so special that he remembered what I had said.
